Animal Rescue Network of New England Seeks Support

Life Is Priceless But Veterinary Care Is Not

The intake requests to take in large and small, pure and mixed breed puppies and adults are endless.

Even surrounding towns contact ARNNE, Inc. to help them with their unclaimed strays so they do not have to take them to the large, more crowded humane societies where the bigger breeds and older dogs are over-shadowed by younger and smaller dogs and often face euthanasia when adoptive families are not found before they lose their sanity or will to live in the shelter atmosphere.

Birthday Girl Shares with Animal Shelter

As Emily's 8th birthday approached, she decided that she wanted to help a local animal shelter. She got the idea from a show on the Animal Planet channel.

Instead of having her friends bring gifts for the birthday girl, she asked that her friends bring donations that a shelter could use. Her mom copied the list of needed items off the Greater Derry Humane Society's web site and included that in her party invitations.
